                   MR. FRENCH'S GRADE 4 (A1) ENGLISH CLASS    _______________________________________________________ A1 CLASS   In class today, students took the Oral Exam. All did very well!                    MR. FRENCH'S GRADE 4 (A1) ENGLISH CLASS    _______________________________________________________ HOMEROOM * In Homeroom today, students took the Third Listening Exam. Hopefully, all scored well! A1 CLASS In class today, we: * talked more about writing a plan and paragraphs for tomorrow's Oral Exam. Students should be thinking about what they will say during their oral presentations. They should be able to talk for around two minutes about which they think is better: Real or Artificial Christmas trees. Students may use notes during their speeches. Exams are starting, so here is the Scope: SCIENCE * In Science today, students learned about Growth and Change.  EXPERIENCE CLASS * In Experience Class today, we continued talking about Growth and Change.  Students also played "Super Password" with the theme being Zoo Animals.                                           See you tomorrow !

HOMEROOM, SCIENCE AND EXPERIENCE CLASSES It was all about Christmas today as students learned about the history of the holiday. They also enjoyed some video clips from some famous Christmas movies. Students also did some crafts; making gingerbread houses and cookies! A1 CLASS The current Story we are studying is "Adelina's Whales". A1 CLASS The current "Reading Street" Story we are studying is "Adelina's Whales". In class today, we: *studied the current Vocabulary and Story. *learned about Main Verbs and Helping Verbs SCIENCE In class today, students were all given fresh mint leaves from Mrs. French's garden! This plant is a good model for studying plant life cycles.
