In addition to studying the science of fossils, students had the opportunity to make some. In class they made the rock then inserted a little plastic insect or shell. Next week the rocks can be opened to reveal the fossils! Avril Liu emerged as the winner, showing a very good knowledge of the Story Vocabulary. All the students did well and seem prepared for tomorrow's Quiz. Students were asked to speak to the class on why they would be good candidates for the upcoming St. Patrick's Day video. Nine students participated and scores were kept for their performances. At the end of the day, Jerry and Jason were chosen to help do the recording.
