                  MR. FRENCH'S GRADE FOUR ENGLISH CLASS    ______________ _________________________________________ CLASS 404 (A1) In Class 404 (A1) today, students reviewed their homework from last night. They also studied the Vocabulary for this week's Story, "Lost City". The Vocabulary studied were the words "enormous" through "focused" . Students also studied the Story , "Lost City", pages 214 & 215 . Finally, they studied more about how to write a good Introductory Paragraph . This week's topic is: "What Surprises Can Happen on an Expedition?" See you Monday ! Mr. French

                       MR. FRENCH'S GRADE FOUR ENGLISH CLASS    ______________ _________________________________________ CLASS 404 (A1) In Class 404 (A1) today, students reviewed their homework from last night. They also studied the Vocabulary for this week's Story, "Lost City". The Vocabulary studied were the words "crops" through "clearing". Students also studied the Story, "Lost City", pages 212 & 213. Finally, they studied more about how to write a good Introductory Paragraph. This week's topic is: "What Surprises Can Happen on an Expedition?" It was good seeing everyone online today!                        MR. FRENCH'S GRADE FOUR ENGLISH CLASS    ______________ _________________________________________ HOMEROOM In Homeroom today, students learned about writing a story.  They had an opportunity to use the Week 11 Vocabulary Words in creating a new story, and all the class worked together in beginning a unique tale.  The title has not yet been determined, but the class will decide on one eventually. This will surely be a cute and interesting story! CLASS 404 In Class 404 today, students presented their Homework which was assigned last class. Additionally, they studied seven more vocabulary words.  There are a total of twenty-five words in their Communication Books. They also continued studying the story, "Lost City".  SCIENCE In Science today, students studied Climate. This is the kind of weather in a certain place over time. EXPERIENCE CLASS In Experience Class today, students made origami palm trees!  This project relates to the Climate topic they are

FRENCH'S GRADE FOUR ENGLISH CLASS    ______________ _________________________________________ CLASS 404 In Class 404 today, students studied the story, "Lost City" along with its first eight vocabulary words. They had opportunities to speak and write the words as well as talk about what is happening in the story. It was good seeing everyone online today! Hopefully, we can all get back to school soon. FRENCH'S GRADE FOUR ENGLISH CLASS    ______________ _________________________________________ EXPERIENCE CLASS   In Experience Class today, students discussed the upcoming Global Education Fair.                     They will prepare a presentation about Iceland, this year's class country. Information presented will include food, history, animals, and language.     HOMEROOM In Homeroom today, students practiced for the April 29th Mother's Day performance.  They will be singing and remembering their moms with kind words!  SCIENCE In Science Class today, students studied the topic: Weather!
