HOMEWORK TO DO THIS DAY (please have completed to show me in the next class!)

1. "Reader's & Writer's Notebook", pages 44, 45.

2. Wrtie a short passage of at least 25 words, "What Are Your Thoughts About Dogs?"


PLEASE NOTE: The First Exam will be on Friday, September 10th!

Students should study their notes, homework assignments and the current story,

"Because of Winn-Dixie", from the Pearson "Reading Street", Grade 4 textbook.

We had a productive day, and studied the following:

*We studied some phonics relating to the current story, "Because of Winn-Dixie".

Phonics will be a part of the next Exam.


*We studied the first three pages of the current story, "Because of Winn-Dixie".

The Story will be a part of the next Exam.

    Page 45 of the RWN, Story Sequence A, is the beginning middle and end refer to "Because of Winn Dixie" story or some other story? It's a bit confusing to me. Please elaborate.
