Please have the Homework completed to show me in the next class along with the Communication Book!


1. "Reader's & Writer's Notebook", page 52. It's REALLY page 52 today!

Yesterday it said, page 52, but it was supposed to say page 51; my mistake!

2. Read, "Lewis and Clark and Me", pages 52-55.


QUIZ/EXAM

PLEASE NOTE: The First Quiz will be Friday, September 17th at 2:30 PM!


A1 LEVEL CLASS TODAY

* We reviewed the Homework assigned in the previous class.

* Also, students received their Exam results from Friday. Over all, the class is very typical with scores ranging from 99 to 46. Here is my grading scale:



Students scoring below 60 may want to consider changing to the A2 Class. This is my thinking, but I will not make the decision at this time. It will be made by other teachers in-the-know.


Furthermore, we discussed Vocabulary which will be included on the Exam next week. I will post it now, since we will be off from school next Monday. This is the Vocabulary normally scheduled for Monday of Week 2, but it was taught today. Students can study ALL the Vocabulary if they wish, but this Friday's Quiz will only cover Vocabulary taught this past Saturday, and displayed on my past Blog.
