HOMEROOM

* We continued our discussion from last week about Public Speaking. Today, we studied how to prepare for speaking; the things we can do to get ready before making a speech. We then watched one of the great speakers from the past, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., deliver his "I Have A Dream" speech.

* We reviewed the Homework assigned in the previous class.

* We discussed more of this week's story, "Lewis and Clark and Me".

* We discussed the use of Contractions which are an important part of writing.

* We discussed the four kinds of sentences as diagrammed below:




EXPERIENCE CLASS

* In this class, students participated in a Science Lab project: making parachutes! 

We had students do some very nice work!
