CLASS 404 (A1)

In Class 404 (A1) today, students reviewed the previously assigned Homework 

(Read "Reading Street", page 204, "Greek and Latin Roots").

This assignment teaches students about word structure so they can comprehend the meaning of new 

and previously unknown words.

They also did a mini assignment, "RWN", page 335 (Outline).

This assignment teaches students how an outline can help them to organize their ideas when writing an essay or report.

They also watched a short video about Greek and Latin roots.

This teaches students about the roots of words which can help them comprehend the meaning

of new words.

They also learned a little more about the Aztec culture.

This helps students understand other native tribes of the Americas and the ruins they left behind.

They also watched a short video about Adverbs.

This teaches students about the adverb part of speech. This is a topic of study in the RWN.
