MR. FRENCH'S GRADE FOUR ENGLISH CLASS

 _______________________________________________________

The school is open, but some students are still attending class via Webex.

In Experience Class, students had fun doing a DIY project!

HOMEROOM

---------------------------------------------

In Homeroom today, students finished presenting their Show and Tells.
Most students did well, scoring between 70-100 percent.
Public speaking is difficult, thus this is an area where students can improve.
This Show and Tell assignment was a good start!

CLASS 404 (Level A1)

---------------------------------------------

In the first half of class today, students continued reviewing Monday's Exam.
More of the questions were discussed, and students were explained the correct answers.

This activity helps students review the material covered during the most recent unit
of the Reading Street textbook.

---------------------------------------------

The second half of today's class was devoted to the Student of the Year competition.
Today was Finals - Day 3, as the finalists demonstrated their knowledge of
the second Story they read this year, "Navajo Code Talkers".

Each day this week, the winners will be advancing towards Day 5 (Friday) when the
Award Recipient will be recognized. Only one student will win, but Mr. French
would like to congratulate all the A1 students for making this a wonderful year!

SCIENCE

In class today, students learned more about flooding. This is what happens when there is an over-abundance of water. This problem happened a lot in the past in Egypt and students learned a little about flooding in there.

EXPERIENCE CLASS

---------------------------------------------

In class today, students did a DIY project! This was to make an electric model of the Earth, Sun and Moon. Since students recently studied a story about the Moon, this activity was all the more interesting!

See you tomorrow!
