The current attendance is 37 children. They are behaving well and settling well into First Grade!



TODAY'S HOMEWORK


1.  "ABC English Exercise Book", letters R & S


This material focuses on handwriting skills for the letters of the alphabet.



What Students Did Today:


* The students studied the Reader's & Writer's Notebook, pages 23 - 25.

This is supporting material for the current Reading Street Story, "Snap!".



* They also studied Reading Street 1.R, p. 37 - 49.

This is Common Core English Language Arts material recommended for First Grade
which focuses on spelling, phonics and reading comprehension.


 * They also reviewed last class' Homework, "ABC English Exercise Book", letter Q.

This helps refresh students' memories regarding the current topics being studied in class.



This Week's Vocabulary & Sentences:

"A cat can jump."       "We like to pat."      "A little man can tap."
