The current attendance is 37 children. They are behaving well and settling well into First Grade!



TODAY'S HOMEWORK


ABC English Exercise Book, letters M & N

This material focuses on handwriting skills for the letters of the alphabet.



What Students Did Today:


* The students studied the Reader's & Writer's Notebook, pages 15 - 16.

This is supporting material for the current Reading Street Story, "Sam".



* They also studied Reading Street 1.R, p. 25 - 27.

This is Common Core English Language Arts material recommended for First Grade
which focuses on spelling, phonics and reading comprehension.


* They also studied Phonics K, p. 29 - 30.

This is material from Scholastic which teaches matching sounds of spoken English with individual letters or groups of letters.


This Week's Vocabulary & Sentences:

"Yes, it is good."       "No, it is bad."      "Sit on the table."      "The ant is in my socks."
